- Applies a highly disciplined, risk-averse approach to its operations and businesses that focuses first and foremost on preserving capital while generating a superior return for its members;
- Focuses almost exclusively on acquiring controlling interests in profitable small to middle market private businesses;
- Does not interfere with the management in the day-to-day operations of the companies in which it invests;
- Recommits the capital that is produced from its activities in whichever of the areas management judges the best long term prospective returns are offered; and
- Utilizes a fund-first, buy-or-expand-later policy that offers business transaction financing certainty and an efficient and streamlined due diligence process.
